So if I went to fianance a brand new d22 navara on the 1% fianance would I be paying off $28990? Or $40000.. Or would it be better to get a loan for the 20-30% deposit and do it that way? Thanks.

I've seen a 2009 2.5 d22 str go for $21000 with 110,000kms. $22000 seems abit steep if you can buy a brand new one for 28k.

Yeah there's them and the mitusbishi triton glx 4x4 for 31,990 da. It's a hard one. But I narrowed it done to the st and str. I wanted carpet and a few more goodies

Hey guys I'm tossing up between a brand new d22 str and a d40 st I'm thinking is it better to spend $8000 more and get the d40 over the d22. I want something that is a comfortable daily and good offroad. Does the d40 have more problems then the d22? Thanks.

Is it a 2 speaker stereo? They don't sound too good, when on full volume is it pretty quiet?

Do the newer 2.5 model d22's have coil front like most modern utes?

Oh okay, I'm just wondering if its to hard, because I have a mate with a suzuki with f&r leaf springs and on rocky hill climbs the ride is horrendous. I just hope it's better then they are.

If you want to clean the water stain off, don't use tap water, buy some distilled water. Normal water has chemicals in it that burn the circuits, then use some metho to clean the excess off. Read the second comment on this thread...

I've decided that I'm going to pay the extra bit and get a later model one with the yd25.

I've found an exhaust on eBay, it's a redback 3" exhaust for $1295, is that too expensive or paying for quality? Also does anyone have one of these on there d22's? Cheers.

Is it blackish grey smoke? If so it's just soot from the Diesel engine, all of them do it.

How are they offroad? Do they suffer when they get too hot? I'm thinking egt gauge and boost gauge is a good idea from what I hear to keep an eye on things.

Yeah I'm looking at 2004- series 2 ones. Is a NADS kit necesary or just get a egr block off, oil catch cans, boost gauge and turbo timer? Cheers

Hey guys, I'm looking at getting my first car, and have been looking at d22's for while now. The str with the zd30. Is their anything to look for when buying 2nd hand and do the d22 S2 str's have the zd30 engine and turbo problems like some of the earlier models? Cheers
