Thats about the same price in NZ but on trademe recon boxes run for $1100 up to $1600NZ. Getting a good one for $600 is OK if no problems. Hope it works for you

I always use an 80W-90 for my Nissan DT21 box in my 4x4. As these gearboxes are not strong I feel having a thicker oil is better for these older gearboxes. However up to any other thoughts on this??

One of the best motors Nissan made. Just the gearbox D21 is not that strong and I for one have had a few problems with this gearbox.
