It is the seals around the glass. It is not entering from the back of the headlight. So iff you were washing down the engine bay or had the bonnet open, water gets in between there. The seals are crap. As nissan have said themselves, they werent designed to keep water out.

Took my Navara in to the local Nissan Dealer for the same problem. Unfortunately for me the Service Manage knocked it back, saying they wont cover it under warranty and that he has never seen this happen to any Navara that has come through. So much for owning a 4WD apparantley driving it...
