    Air Con Control illumination problem?

Ive had 2 d22 and both have this issue. Never bothered to try fix it, a few taps usually gets it going.

    Power

Yeh sounds a bit underpowered to me. I very rarely have to change out of 5th gear at 100k (though I usually drive at 90), and where I do id say most cars would be knocking back a gear.

    Dirt Bikes

I ride 99 rmx 250. I only like riding trails, my wife has shown interest and bought a crf230.

    tigerz 11 snorkel installed

I think most on here have found the supplied template doesnt line up particularly well. I just used it it get a rough idea of main snorkel hole then drilled roughly 10-15mm oversize so I had a bit of play to fit the snorkel where I thought was the perfect fit. Then marked and drilled the bolt...

    STOLEN D40 and Jayco campervan

Yeh, id be trying insurance company again. When you make a claim you have to pay the outstanding premium which would include the missed payment. Surely there is some leniency for late payments.

    Rant at the lights

Yesterday on my way into town, about 10k out, a patrol decided to over take me and the car 50m ahead in one go, stupidly kept the boot into it forcing a little barina coming the other way completely off the road. I reckon he beat me to town by 30 secs.

So you bought a 3.0L Nissan Snorkel?

Bypassing the precleaner is definitely a worthwhile mod imo, got rid of alot of low end lag, feels much more lively now.

    Possible D22 buy? Opinions!

I sold my old 04 str with 105k km for $22k and that was back in early 2010, so imo that is over priced. I would think more like 18-19k. I would go for yd25 motor, seems the more reliable engine, plus you get the 6 speed, which the zd30 desperately needs.

    Corrugations !

My d22 seems to scoot over corrugated roads nicely, stock sus, 165k, no air down. It is about the only terrain it does ride well on. So much better than our pajero which almost feels like it will self destruct.

    snorkel fitting

Would anyone be able to post a pic of their ebay "navara" imprinted snorkel where it mounts to A pillar. I assume it attaches to the lip around the windscreen but when i do this and try to line it up with the template on the car it is out a bit, I cant see where else it would mount though. Just...

    NSW Nav meet.

I may be able to make the saturday as I'm only about 1.5 hours away. My d22 is stock as a rock, I have no recovery gear, and little 4 wheeling experience, but keen to have a go. Don't know if id be more of a hindrance or not. I have been up there once on a dirt bike, remember it being very steep...

    Urgent help!

Don't earth your unit to the Orange wire, it is for the dimmer on the original cd/radio and other lights on the vehicle - there is a sticky somewhere on it, try electrical section. you have likely blown a fuse. Just earth to metal in dash.

Who else is using Caltex Vortex diesel.

Our servo only has vortex premium, so I mostly run that. I filled up with shell diesel a few weeks ago but can't say I noticed a difference between the two. Fuel economy is a consistent 8.8lt, has been as low as 8.4.

    Apprenticeships.

Yeh, definitely try to if you can. I would have to work 10 hrs to match that.

    Apprenticeships.

I have nearly finished my first year of electrical apprenticeship (mature age). It took me a few years to finally get an offer, but has been great. Basic algebra transposition is all you need, the difficulty is knowing what the symbols in each equation mean and there units. If you have a genuine...

    Disabled parking WTF?

Similar thing at tafe, they are bringing in that you will no longer get a fail, you get " not yet competent". I don't know how some of these people get away with it. I broke my pelvis and couldn't walk for 12 weeks and it was a pain in the arse just to keep the disabled pass.
