Just had my work ute sent to the mechanics for the same reason. Turns out it is the Air flow meter. will update if it is the true cause.

at about halfway mine sits at 87 degrees. occasionally up to 89. A bonnet scoop wont help with the temp reduction. As they are forcing air in to the engine bay to cool an intercooler. If yours is high try a coolant change and give the radiator a good clean. chris

Brett if you dont then your not trying hard enough. Speaking of recovery!!! Can everyone ensure that they have a front and rear recovery point. Recovery gear- minimum 2 rated bow shackles, snatch strap and a long handled shovel for the trip. It is BYO food and drink naturally. cheers Chris

Gu airbox in. To get it to fit, I cut down the intake pipe that went to the D22 airbox from the snorkle. Used a 3-3.5 inch reducer to join it to the gu airbox. Between the airbox and original pipe work i used a 3" joiner and a 3" exhaust dump pipe from Super crap. will probably re do it a...
