Hi all , does anyone know when the new Navara platform is due . My dealer told me 2013 in December last year , now he has gone quiet and wont commit. ?? I am ready too buy new but would rather wait if there is a new platform out shortly.

i'd put anything but a chipit on it ...from personal and expensive experience... Try DP Chip or Steinbeaur . Stick with those who don't have ongoing multiple issues with theiur product.

I have a 2009 STX (15 mths old) with $15k of goodies on it for sale . It has only done 13000 kms. Have a look on Carsales if you are interested. Its the Grey one at $45900. Cheers Prokiwi

Excuse ,my ignorance , but would a decent set of bash plates have a recessed area where the bolts do up , thus if you slide over a rock etc , the hea dof the bolt does not get sheared off ???. I race quadbikes and the bashplates we use all have a recess in the plate which allows the bolt head...

Did some more research ...new STX is supposed to have VDC , Traction control , big increase in power (reported to be the european Renau spell?? motor), and some cosmetic changes to the exterior. Will be $5k dearer , but will be well worth it as it is better specd to compete with the competition...

My deale rhas told me to wait for 8 weeks till the new model D40 STX arrives , he said they have no specs yet but it is a new version ?? Does anyone have any info , pics, spec etc . cheers

Yes , standard globe replacement , no wiring required. Can be fitted in 10 minutes. No negative effects to oncoming motorists that ive noticed in 3yrs of using these things on Navara's. I mostly notice the difference on Highbeam .... far better range , wider spread and sharper.

Ive just had Old Man Emu full suspension kit put into my 09 Navara d40. Compared to my old d40 this setup is amazing . No sinking feeling when i hit the brakes now , much less roll around corners, and all round a better feel on the road. Worth the $1700 installed. cheers

Not sure about the d22 but the d40 , if you dont get Nissan servicing , after 12 mths you loose the roadside assist benefit .

My company (privately owned and QLD based) gave $100k . Impressed me , thats for sure . Each year they give a Jetski to Lifesaving Qld as well.

I use IPF Fatboy Globes $100 and three times as good as stock lights , had em on two d40's now and everybody says imy lights are amazing .....dont need to spend a lot of money to do a good job. See what ARB boys are using on their d40s .... tells me the right story.
