    Proposed new Suspension... comments?

After reading just about every thread in here, I've worked out that I want: Bilstein Shocks Dobinson's Coils Sax 3SDS Leafs This is to go on my 2010 D40 STX, steel bar on front, constant load of 150kg in the rear and often towing a camper. Anyone see any glaring errors in what I've picked?

    1957 vs 2012

I was at school during the 80's, not the 50's and I can tell you I used to constantly get in trouble for not being able to sit still and for being the class clown... now they would work out I have Asperger's and deal with it accordingly, back then I just failed to learn... which is better?

    Camper Trailers

We got a Camel Discovery earlier this year (1year old, $9k) and so far its proved itself to be awesome - easy to setup and put down, tough and easy to tow. About to start modding it to add electrickery and hot water to it, and maybe even a heater so we can camp during winter...

Dunn's Swamp (don't let the name fool you!) is a great place to camp for a week or two, though it might be a bit cold for a July camp.

    Computer Virus

The Canadians use the MacMillan TAC-50, up till 2010 in anti-personnel. The Americans used the M82A1 till 07 or 08, now the A3 for anti-materiel only. The Norwegians still use the Barret M82A1, but can't confirm if they stopped using it for anti-personnel. The American Navy also use the Mod11Mk0...

    Computer Virus

are you really sure its a virus and not a hardware or software fault? very few virus' these days are that destructive. Were you using some form of virus protection? If its a long range kill you want Tony, you want the AWSM in .338 Lapua Mag. longest confirmed sniper kill at 2475 mtrs... and the...

Navara D40 ST -X 2005 DIED on me

couple of things - D40 is the 2.5l not the 3l. The 3l was in the D22. If its the 2005 3l in the D22 then troubleshooting the fuel issue is easier as its not common rail. You can take the main fuel feed off to the injector and crank the engine and see if fuel is being pumped up. Do NOT do that if...

    Camper Trailers

We bought a Camel CAmper, and would highly recommend them. We got ours second hand (1 year old) with no 12v setup, but for $9k you can't complain. I would recommend getting on myswag.org as that forum is dedicated to campers, and you will get a good idea of what is worth buying over there.

    New Tyres for my D40

I had Cooper ATR's, then ST's and found them to be pretty ordinary in terms of life, and the drop off in grip as they age was bad too. Haven't had the Bridgeys, so I can't comment. I have Mickey T's ATZ on my Nav now, and can't rate them highly enough. Great on road, excellent offroad, ok in the...

if its a D22 with the ZD30, check the head gasket as thoroughly as you can. if it has any ripples that you can see, walk away or be prepared to drop 10k on an engine rebuild... not saying the ZD30 is a hand grenade...
