Well it's been over a week since this happened and it looks like all is OK No temp issued no coolent lost no pressure build up in the reserve tank no hard starting I hadn't done a compression test nor raidator test if I have issues in the near future I will do these examinations

Yes so far but will monitor it and keep everyone posted good that you will check it you might need a strong light and a small mirror it's on the block side underneath but it's worth it 👌

Warning to everyone with this zd30 engine with egr system This just happened to me there is a small hose going from the egr exhaust inlet to the block behind the starter motor. It split leaking all coolent out of the system making the engine over heat to Max temp on gauge Didn't realise it...

So I'm curious about these pumps a good sounding one or bad ? I have noticed with mine at light idle it's had the same noise as diesel knock ? But under load it goes away . The pump runs fine no codes or issues, starts fine every time low fuel soot under load and starting Just wondering if this...

Only thing to do is pressure test the cooling system and compression test on the engine only way to ruel them out

Not sure possible sensor fault strange hot or cold nothing changes ? Do you have anything aftermarket installed to affect engine management

Try fuel pressure to the filter how clean is your tank ?

How is the injector pump glow pugs ? Turbo seal? normally it would still run , how long have you had it for how many km .I'm not sure but if the ecu is telling it different it should still run regardless of smoke does it smell like fuel and oil or just oil

Do you think 20 psi is safe standard for engines of 200 300 km mark How do you run yours do you let it warm up and run down if so for how long

OK good to know my boost gauge Max standard , with no bleeder is 16 and on free way 1800 to about 2800 is about 10 depending on load and pedal position I read alot about egt temps keeping them low as possible but whoever it's good to know others with experience on here have had difference...

From what I have found restriction and high temptures from the turbo as you know working range is about 10 psi Most performance cars running 10 psi are 400 hp plus but that's petrol ,diesel is different normally . The high temperatures in exhaust if restricted can cause lost of problems...

Looking at no 4 cylinder seems to be lighter colour compared to the other three burning hotter ?

I'd check your lift pump make sure it goes hard in the lines dont start it just make sure the fuel lines are full maybe possible air leak or check the fuel filter when did you replace it last Take the supply line off to the injector pump make sure you have good flow

how many switches are on the gearbox 1 reverse 2 high idle or neutral switch is there 2 for this 3 speed sensor 4 4wd And the locations I notice in the manual is vague and you have to go back and forward between schematic and it's a bit all over

So I have replaced the reverse switch thinking that would fix it but hasn't I noticed the wiring seems to be in series with the 4wd switch and light they work when i switch them, but the reverse lights won't there is power feeding the circuit ? How many ball bearings are meant to be in the hole...
