I didn't do it on a hoist mate. Just on the driveway, with the car as high as possible with the jack stands. You need enough room to be able to manouvre the gearbox out, but not too high, otherwise you can't get it back up and in there with the trolley jack. Hopefully this helps.

I would say V6 or 2.5. Is that the crank angle sensor on the side of the bell housing?

What about if you pulled the seats and centre consoles out, and used an engine crane in thru the door.. Do you reckon this would make it easier?

Hey Ben. So I got it all mounted up fairly nicely. Trimmed a couple of bends down a bit to get everything spaced out where i wanted it. Just need to add the fan and a bonnet scoop, and think she's all good. I see you cut the ribs on the bonnet when you fitted the scoop. I'm a little worried...

Hey Saitek, did you have any luck with the tuning of this chip in regards to removing the over Rev. I've some good success with backing the tune off a bit, but would just love to get rid of the over Rev between gear change.

Hey Ben_W, keen to hear more on your setup mate if you could. Did you end up fitting a bonnet scoop? If so, could you throw some pics up? And what about a fan with yours, maybe mounted on the bottom??? I love your pics. Looks like a really cheap setup, with not too much mucking around..

One last question Saitek, do you know what colour wire. I've had a look at the connector above the pump, and it has 5 wires i think. Red, Black, Purple, Yellow and something else. Did you tap in near this connector, or directly on to the loom at the pump?
