Hey Guys,
Wanting to have a crack at removing the intake manifold but I can find very little information on it, also the workshop manual is next to useless. On the patrol forums there are a couple of threads like these:

I have seen some people use a spray to break down some of the build up but I dont like the idea of this crap even if broken down going through the engine.
The biggest problem I can see is removing the injector piping, apparently according to those patrol threads it is the hardest part, also most dont bother dropping the coolant as you can just move the EGR valve around and out of the way while leaving it connected.
I'd like to try this but afraid I may get stuck and maybe Im better for paying someone else $400 to do it.
What are peoples thoughts?
