2 stroke oil

I know I read about it in here somewhere, but are guys still putting 2stroke in their diesel , I have a yd25 70,000 and have a rattling pinging noise most noticeable on the freeway at about 110 and thought I read that the 2 stroke might help this but can't find the old threads cheers
