Hi All, Big Devs the name. Just joined today. Hope you are all well.

I just got myself a ST-X D40 Navara, just wondering if 265/r16 tyres will fit without a suspension lift. I currently have the standard 255/r16 continental tyres on? Any advise will be much apprciated

Best Regards

I have 265/70 R16 BF Goodrich All Terrains on mine. The tyres do not touch the vehicle when at full lock or under suspension compression. They are 2% larger than the standard tyres, so the ECU will calculate speed and distance incorrectly (indicating 2% lower).

265/75s are 5% larger and should rub on the front mudflaps & inside of the front guards when the suspension is compressing at full lock. You might be able to use a heat gun to modify the inner guard, but may also have to cut away part of the mudflap.

thanks guys, very much appreciated..Will post pics when I've got the new tyres on.

Cheers
Big Dev
