Yeah true but with most of the kits here you get the leaf springs as well.
im guessing this is the au equivalent.

not really "equivalent" its the same stuff in a different colour (ok maybe different shocks but the uca's are the same) with a hell of a mark up on it...

Looking at a lift kit (duh)...

Mod plate required as it is greater than 2"?!?
What about the rear springs.. whats the go? What do I replace the standard ones with.
Also, CV angle.. anyone got this installed?
I only really want to go 2" but it looks like I will need to get the Calimini UCAs to resolve the CV angle.. which then requires bigger shockys which then makes a 3" more desirable...
Any advice/comments would be appreciated.

the Calmini uca's DO NOT resolve the CV angle...... ONLY a diff drop will do this

Here is a picture of the 3" calmini kit installed.
As you can see there is not much play between the bump stop and upper control arm. Also CV angle is pretty horrible, I am going to be playing around soon by getting rid of the extended shackles at the rear, winding down the torsion bars to bring it back to a 2" kit then installing a 2" body lift to bring the CV angles back in line.

Hey mate
Go to this link which is DomHogans D22 build thread and search through it for his lift info. He bought the 3" lift kit from calmini in the US and pretty sure he said how much it cost for postage to him.

I had this ordered from caloffraod. Pretty much the same accept the shocks and ball joints are engineered to an Australian standard. I also installed iron man heavy duty leaf springs in the rear, without the blocks, there was no need for them with the rear shock and 3" leafs. Works a treat! Only problem is the front end dips 1/2 an inch. Just looking at how to lift the front end up. Anyone have any ideas?
