Another happy Zordo customer here.
Money deposited Saturday, parts at the workshop in Sydney on Wednesday. Awesome. Highly recommended.
Now just need a few moments to get it installed!

Muzza D40 Suspension Upgrade

Zordo,

I am new to 4wd but are in the process of setting up for tripping in Australia.

I have a 2011 Navara D40 STX dual cab with canopy and ARB Steel Bar. Will be towing a Pioneer Onyx Camper Trailer with a ball weight of 80Kg and the back of the ute will have drawers and 100 kg of gear.

Not into extreme 4WD but will be doing some tracks and numerous corrugated dirt roads. Car will spend quite a bit of time on the black top, empty.

I am after a better ride and load carrying capacity, also looking for longeveity and quality.

What would you recommend?

Thanks

Murray

Hi mate.
You need heavy duty leaves & coils for your D40
Bluemax leaves & shocks with Dobinson H/D coils + shackles etc
$1425 plus freight to your location
Or $1675 fitted
Cheers

Muzza1000 do exactly what Zordo says because he knows his stuff. Just had the same stuff put in by him last week. The car came up by 60mm in the front and a whopping 110mm in the back, it had sagged a lot mind you. It drives so much better and finally looks the part now. Also the price was the best I could find anywhere by far.

Zordo,

Thanks for your reply. I was surprised you didn't mention koni or bilstien....

I mentioned quality and longevity plus ride quality laden and unladen, didn't mention budget.

I have only heard of Bluemax recently but have seen no reviews or comparisons.

Was your suggestion based on value for money or all of the above. I would not like to go down regretting I didn't spent an extra $500?

I value and trust your opinion it just I may not have made myself clear in my initial request

Thanks for your time.

Muzza

Hi mate.
I can do Bilstiens if you prefer.
I did not offer them to start with as heaps of people have asked about Bilstein but never proceeded with them.
Bilstein shocks add $480
If you want the height adjustable Bilstein for the front add another $40
Bilstein wil lgive you a very good ride & they are rebuildable.
Bluemax are good value for the money
Cheers

Zordo,

Thanks, Ok now I have a $ value to save for. I am a firm believer of getting whats best even if you have to wait a little longer. I plan to keep my Navara for a long time 10 yrs, so it's worth putting the good stuff in.

Thanks Muzza

No problems mate.
You won't be disapointed with Bilsteins.
They are one of the best shocks around
Cheers
