Hello there.

not new to 4wdriving but new to Nissan.

Currently driving a 05 D22. Stock except the bullbar and sports bar.

Live in SA.

Female.

Love the outdoors, camping watersports. Have significant history in Scouts SA.

Looking to build the ute up for touring. Planning a SA -> Darwin trip in 12 months. so will be looking for advice re sub / long range tanks, carriers specific to Navaras.

Previously have a 99 sr5 hilux - d/cab, lifted, 33s, bullbar, winch, uhf, long range, arbcanopy and other goodies.

not much else to it really just cruising for ideas and advice.

Welcome to the forum!

There are fuel stations all the way up the Stuart Highway, although the minor towns like Ti Tree and Barrows Creek do charge a lot more for diesel. A long range tank (ARB sell the LongRanger series of tanks - supposed to be good gear) would help you jump to the cheaper stops, like Tennant Creek.
