Sorry if this has been answered in the past but can I charge my deep cycle battery (in the ute tub) while it has the connections from my redarc isolator, solar panel and various accessories with my Ctek charger?

The short answer is yes, and many people do it like that - particularly in caravans - they don't just go around unplugging everything before hooking up to mains.

The only caveat is that accessories drawing power from the battery will slightly skew the charger's view of the battery's current state of charge - but it'll still do a damn good job.

A question that has come to mind on numerous occasions but never when on the forum. Thanks for asking Nathan and thanks Tony for the answer.

Part of C-Teks marketing is that the charger can be connected and utilised while the battery is in-situ, apparently it won't effect even the most sensitive electronics.
