Can you fit a 2007 hard tonneau to a 2012 ST?

Hi all,

Looking at a 2nd hand 2007 Nissan hard tonneau cover, any idea if it would fit a 2012 ST tub? I asked Nissan parts, they don't think there should be a difference but didn't sound confident. And would prefer to sell me an STX-550 cover on sale for $3000...bargain!

Think I'll stick to 2nd hand.

there is a difference between Thai and Spain built trays by a few mm either side so as long as the cover is off a spain built D40 it should work fine.

Thanks Nathan, did a bit more research and it looks like it will fit as the tub sizes don't seem to vary much at all.

I recently transferred my STX 08 snug top canopy to new STX with no problems.

Thanks all for the replies. I gambled, and won. Confirming you can fit a 2006 ST-X hard tonneau to a 2012 ST.
