Has anyone heard if any problems with zd30 if you remove the cat .Yes I know the legals of it but thats no diffrent to blocking the EGR so was wondering re performance /noise /fuel economy

no problems aside from breaking studs off when fitting the dump pipe. more turbo whistle but that settles down after a while.

Tweak have you still got standard exhaust except for muffler chris

2.5" exhaust is certainly not standard. tho have small straight through front muffler and offset main muffler. i have to keep it quiet for work.

metal will age a bit but mostly i think its just getting soot built up on the inside.
it still whistles more than stock but not as much as when we fitted the dump pipe.
