changing oil with a brown davis bashplate

i ended up getting one delivered last week for my d40, a 103n(n for nipple) it fitted up fine, except it hung quite low, finishing only about 1cm above my bashplate. i felt a bit uneasy about this, so i have removed and sent it back for a 103s. this one has a shorter nipple, by 1cm, and comes with an extra plastic nipple that clips on/off when you do the oil change. it should now miss the bashplate by 2cm

thats why ive decided not to get one. would hate to get a hit on the bash plate and have it snap off

i never thought to take a pic with the long nipple one, but i will with the shorter one. should get it in the next day or two

fitted the 103s valve, now have 2cm clearance, so happy with that!

Just checking - the Fumoto website says F102 for Navara, but you've got the F103.... my drainplug takes a 14mm socket, so the F103 is the go then?? (MY11 D40 YD25)
