Hi guys

Been doing a bit of reading about 265/70 17s from a few forum sites. My Understanding is that they will fit to a standard D40. There are a few posts warning against upsizing tyres on a manual gearboxes due to risk of burning the clutch. These appear to be older posts.

Has anybody had experience with taller tyres on a manual ? Any issues?
Will a 265/70 17 spare fit under the spare wheel well?

PS . 'Im not towing and have a late 2013 ST ( not sure if that means the clutch has been upgraded from earlier models)

Thanks

I have a 08 manual kingcab with 96000kms its got the dual mass setup.no problems with 45000kms of running with 33s.i tow a car trailer and give it a hard time.just dont ride it too much.

Nah spare is a 32 but it does fit just fine...33 might fit mine lives in my tray as i needed it once while bogged up to the sills im mud...too much digging for me.
