Hi all,
I have a 2012 D40 manual diesel. Since the temperature has dropped, I have had a problem with power early in the mornings and late night. It doesn't happen during the day when it is a bit warmer.
It is a consistent problem, first gear cuts out at 1500 rpm and the rest of the gears just lack power at the top end.
Also, the traction control light comes on after about 10 mins of driving, and I cannot use the cruise control (flashes when turned on). Which leads me to think it is electrical and a sensor problem.
Any ideas? Appreciate the help, cheers guys.

Gave the MAF a good clean inside and out yesterday (it was extremely dirty) but no change this morning. I thought that was going to solve the problem considering how grubby it was.

Any other ideas?

You will need to find what the boost pressure is when it happens. Get a OBD2 scanner or fit a boost gauge.
