As I don't have an electrical diagram for my Nav can I connect a second battery controller as in a Projector 150 direct to the alternator as the alternator terminals are right next to where I am going to install the second battery or is there something in the wiring inbetween the alternator and the main battery that makes me have to wire the controller to the main battery positive terminal.
In simple terms if that's confusing does the alternator positive output go straight to the main battery positive.
This will save me running a heavy wire across the engine bay.
