Great day out in the bush, wish i got more photos but some of the big stuff required momentum (and it was too muddy to get out) so there was no time to stop for photo's. yesterdays rain made conditions a little worse. Photo's never seem to do it justice, Was really impressed getting over the rock edge of this creek due to its steep approach.

Blackwood is about 30k's past Baccus Marsh just off the Western Hwy. We started from the Baccus Marsh-Gisborne road and drove over the top of the ranges following a course out of the book "4WD Treks close to Melbourne". So far book has been greta but not sure from the end directions were lost, not sure due to us (wife was navigating)or whether it was a mistake in the book.
Pretty happy with the tyres so far. Road noise is not that bad, they dug through a bit of mud in spots and they are showing no signs of loosing chunks on some of the sharp rocks we hit.
