Cruise "SET" light

I have a 07 V6 6speed and would like to know if when you turn your cruise on and set your speed should it put a light on the dash saying..SET..

Mine does not do this and the dealer said this model was not fitted with it.

Prety sure my 06 says set when on cruise

The early one's say set then in 07 they stopped and then started again around 2010-11.

i thought it was a bit odd aswell, my wifes 05 xtrail tells you when you activate cruise and then also set but 07 ST-X doesnt.......??

i had always thought mine had just broken

I've never thought it was required, the light tells me cruise is on and if my foot is not on the pedal it's set.
