hey you guys can you post the diff ratios the d22's came out with please

ie engine and transmission combinations

I have a 2012 STR and the manual says 4.625 whereas the 4x2 DX cab/chassis states 3.70

elsewhere on this forum folks have stated its 4.375

good question I would also like to know this, be good for fitting 33" tyres if they are

KA24E/DE, 2WD. 3.5 to 1.

VG30E,

TD27 I think are 3.5 to 1. 2WD.

4WD.

QD32, 4.636.

ZD30DDT, 4.375

YD25DDTI, non common rail are 4.375

YD25DDTI common rail are, Japan built, 4.375 and I have seen 3.9 to 1 on the complianced plates on some.

Thailand built I have seen, 4.636 and 3.9 on the complianced plates.

Wouldn't surprise me if all YD25's were actually 4.375 and Nissan Australia !@#$ed up.

VG33E run 4.636

VG30E run 4.375.

CA 46 means 4.6 ratio. But I have heard of guys plates saying this and they pull the case off and actually count the teeth and turns out they have the 4.3. And vise versa. But that was with the earlier models, haven't heard of it in new ones.

I would of thought that was referenced to the Transmission

and Trans axle was the diff

if it is 4.6** then what you mentioned is at odds to what Dave has posted :confused3:

Well , I rang the Nissan dealer I bought the car from..supplied rego and VIN numbers... they came back to me and said ONLY 1 diff fitted to that car via there parts and online manual--4.625

Can some of you guys check VIN plate details and let us know what diff ratio you have fitted please ?

its been a while since I drove a 2.5, they had the same ratio's as my ZD30 powered one does but maybe they got the bright idea to finally change them? I guess anything is possible.

To give you some idea using the Scantool--at 100km/hr the car is reving at 2430rpm

The ECU velocity is 2km/hr faster than 2 different GPS's :makeout: and then the speedo is reading another 8km/hr faster again at 100km/hr ECU reading.

180...what I have been lead to believe is that the 2012 Jap built 2.5 is NOT the same as the ZD30..as per previous posts

Gear ratios between the zd and yd are completely different as a mate of mine has an 07 D22 2.5 and his sits below 2500rpm at 100 however mine which is an 03 3.0 at 100 sits around 2750. Both same stock size tyres etc.

The reason I used the data in the above post is that speedos and tacho's are not accurate..ie the ECU data.

Looks like mine has a 4.625

not sure how yours can be sitting at 2750rpm at 100km/hr...as there are no available diffs OE which would achieve that...ie the level of confidence in the info knowing speedos and tachos are not correct
