Nice project mate. I am in the process of designing my own custom draws. bit different but hope they look just as good. planning a slide out table and going to cover it with marine grade carpet.
 
great job mate i am looking at doing a very similar sett up. i am a form work carpenter and have 20 or so sheets of the 2.4 by 1.2 sheets so will have it all made cheep hopefully. how much were you draw sliders mate?
 
thanks for the feedback, havn't worked on them for a while been to busy with with and other stuff.
the drawers were $110 a pair rated for 125kg. got them from the website www.holjack.com.au
the sheets are 17mm thick formply, a little bit heavy.
 
sorry for taking so long, just about finished them off today, just going to add some aluminium angle and switches on the side for lights, dual battery etc..

Also got some under body bash plates made up from a local shop. it was $147 for both transfer case plate and sump guard plate

I love the finished product, wondering if it would be worth it to do this although I've only got a tonneau cover fitted at the moment hmmm
 
Has anyone done this type of thing for a tray back? I am currently getting an aluminium/canvas canopy built for my tray and am looking at building draws for it once it is finished. if anyone has photos of there's that they can share would be much appreciated.
