replaced the tensioner and fan belt today.
there's not a lot of info around on how to do this so here's what i found.

it can be done from underneath easily enough without removing the fan or shroud.

removing bash plates was probably the hardest part along with getting the new belt on.

19mm 6 sided socket w/ breaker bar to rotate tensioner to release tension on belt, belt off, then remover belt from all pulleys and around the fan and off, bit fiddly but not difficult.

12mm socket to remove top bolt on tensioner.
17mm (i think for memory) to remove lower tensioner bolt.

refit is the reverse, i didn't have torque specs so just did them up by feel.
its pretty fiddly getting the new belt on, i used a ratchet strap to hold tension on the breaker bar so i could have 2 hands to get the belt on. i put the belt around the alternator pulley last.

I used a Matsumo Fan Belt Tensioner Assembly + Optibelt Drive Belt from online auto parts on ebay, aparantly these have a slightly larger pulley than original and the belt is 5mm longer also so don't try to use one without the other.
