Hi Guys

put on some slotted rotors/new pads and braided lines to a mates d40 today, in hope we could move it away from its absolutely shocking braking performance.

when getting ready to bleed one of the rear brakes, the bleeder nipple snapped in half...we attempted to extract it with an 'easy out' type screw extractor but that also snapped in half......it defiantly dident want to come out.

now im thinking because it was suck a PITA it might be worthwhile removing and replacing with a new one.

I want to know from any experienced d40 people if the rears look the same set-up to johs's write-up about his d22 :

on ebay these things seem to be around 90 a pair deliverd (non genuine of course)

would anyone have any experence getting one localy, Repco/nissan Covs etc?

and has anyone replaced one? and is it straightforward enough? it looks straightforward, but then again ..... it could be tricky.

cheers
