D40 V6 petrol with automatic transmission

I just spoke with my local Nissan service department about getting the automatic transmission oil flushed. I've got a 2010 D40 with a V6 petrol engine and 5 speed auto. I've done almost 100k kilometres.

The service manager said that those gearboxes use a "lifetime" ATF - never needs changing!

Is that correct?

G'day Sam, try another dealer the one you spoke to is incorrect. Check your maintenance book, from memory it's done at around 120k. Or give these guy's a call, they will look after you.
