Difference between the st and st-x trays?

they have different chassis', not sure on the mount positions.
My understanding is that the major differences in chassis between them is up the front, but the rears are (supposed to be) identical.
If I had a year model I'd go look up a ute tray supplier and see if there was a difference between the trays for the two models - that'd answer the question.
