Hi Everyone, i need some help with a situation.
My D40 2009 Thaii build Navara has a P0401 code coming up.

Long story short. EGR valve has been replaced and its new.

I went for a long drive and the engine light came on the same day. Mechanic diagnosed it and said the P0401 code again.

I am unsure what to do.

For the 2009 model, code P0401 isn't even listed in the manual. I have a 2009 model (Spanish, so more likely to have emission stuff) and my car doesn't care if there's EGR flowing or not.

My guess is that it's either not code P0401 at all, or the ECU is making a mistake (actually quite possible).

The very first thing I'd do is clean the battery terminals and the ECU's earth point (near the ECU). Unknown (meaning, errant, or "how the hell did this happen" ) errors are often caused by erratic electrical connections.
