Hello,
I own a v6 d40 navara (v9x engine).
The trouble i’m having is that the car starts very easily but until it gets a little warm or i manage to rev it up to 2000rpm it runs really bad (lean) and sometimes it cuts off. (It is very hard for me to rev it)
The tester said it was a P0090 error - Fuel pressure regulator A circuit / open.
Until i change it i was wondering if there shouldn’t be additional symptoms like bad/no starting and shouldn’t the engine be running bad no matter if it is warm or not?
Changed the fuel pump and had the injectors tested and 2 of them repaired.
After the cold start, once i rev it and it gets a little warm it runs fine, no power issues, just an increase in diesel consumption (about 10%)
Should i look into something else?
Thank you!
