Got a Navara TEKNA 4X4 SHR DCB which is giving us real issues.

Initially had starting problems with the DSC light and DSC off lights coming on. In this state the throttle took an age to respond. Loads of errors showing.

Took it in and this was put down to a blocked DPF (also a lot of diesel in oil to support this). This issue solved but still showing the same throttle problem.

Seems that the ecu is only outputting 1.5 volts instead of 5 volts. Loom and earths all checked so mechanic leaning towards ECU.

Anyone else ever experienced this?

The ECU will put out varying voltages depending on which wire you're testing. It's not something I'd be even looking at at the moment.

Diesel in the oil is usually a seal problem around the injectors. This shouldn't cause an issue with the DPF. DPF blockages are caused by the ECU not being able to conduct a regen. Several options exist to fix, but if you've kicked that goal we'll move on.

Some clarity is needed for the rest.

1) Does the car crank willingly? A battery providing a low voltage when cranking may not allow the ECU enough power to open injectors.

2) When the car starts, does it idle evenly (revs stay steady) ?
