I have realised my bike is worth a bit less than I thought and am thinking the swap may be my best option.

I have arranged for a mechanic to do a compression check on the motor this coming week.

If if looks ok in this regard I think I will get it.

First mod. Put the higher front springs back in.

Second mod. An inch or 2 body lift.

Third mod. 35" MT tyres and rims to suit.
 
G'Day Dave,

Got the father in law to take it in today to get tested.

All cylinders near the same readings. All close to 400 psi he says.

So I will be doing the deal this weekend id say.

The injectors were all replaced last year as well.
 
Buy it and axle swap front and rear for the nav!....you know you want to:wink:
 
The one im getting is a LWB. Not a SWB.

I had already been thinging about puting a custom turbo on it. Not sure if I should push my luck though.

Low boost would probably be safe enough though.

Go on Laith, build it up.

If the TD42 gets sad, 4BT Cummins it.

I think there all the same.

Haven't been married but hear all the married guys I know complaining all the time.
