Just a little tip. I've cut a piece of board to size which fits in the grooves about where the end of the struts are. This stops my tool box and compressor sliding all over the place.
I have one and it was a bit of a pain to fit. I bought my hardlid secondhand and they warp and carry on over time, so that could be part of it also.
It doesn't sit right near the sports bar rear mounts and I had to modify them a bit to get them to fit reasonably.
Here you go. I didn't fit it , it was on it when I bought it. But it's pretty simple. The tub liner has just been cut around the hinges.bit hard to see, this iPad doesn't have a flash, so I had to use a torch.
Well I put mine on yesterday, and I tell ya what, it was hard work! My Nissan lid didn't want a bar of the tub liner at all and the following photos will show you to what extent the chopping had to go to. It will give you a good idea of the process anyway.
Looks the goods now but I still need to buy some gas struts and attach the strut mount. Can anyone help me for the measurements for the mount on the tub for the strut and strut part number please.
Well I have done a little more work on it the other day, installing the locks for lid. I used a dremil tool to cut them out.
Also I would like some help with the struts. Can someone please tell me the lenght of the struts and the measurement of the mount point for the strut too. Thanks in advance.
And what is this clip thingie supposed to do with the hardlid?
