Heater core bypass

Has anyone bypassed the heater core the plastic t piece is leaking and thought it would be easier to bypass all together

I haven't but it should be fairly simple. If you have a YD25 engine the heater pipes run out the firewall and connect to the EGR cooler on the front of the engine (so, you can trace the hose back). Take the two hoses off the firewall, join them together and job is done (but you're minus a heater which isn't great at this time of year).
