HELP!: sports rollbar how do i take plastic caps off

Need some advice couldnt find any other threads about it, i have a 2011 d22 and i want to get my rear aluminium roll bar powdercoated black, except my roll bar has black caps, how do i get them off? has anyone taken theirs apart before? would love some feedback thanks.

Hey mate. Remove the 4 bolts from the bottom of roll bar to remove it from car. Then holding the bottom of the arms of the rollbar pull them in towards the middle of the bar and they should just unclip and you can unscrew it I think from the inside.

ah thankyou that answers it all, i have taken it off before and sprayed my rear bar black but i want to get it properly sprayed.. now i can get it powdercoated because i can take it off and leave the plastic bits behind ill suss it out tomorrow! thankyou
