How often is a full coolant change needed?

Hi guys,

just wondering how often a full coolant flush is really needed? You see coolants in the shops that say they are good for 5 years and 250,000km and the genuine Nissan coolant is supposed to be way better than the other brands. Pretty sure the manual says to do it every 40,000km, but I was just wondering what everyone else out there is doing?

I do mine every 4-6 months. Only due to myself experiences mayjor build up and having over heat. It is cheap and easily done. Plus it is also another excuse to go in to the car shops. Im a suk for tools.

Manual for the 2.5 is 80K and I see no reason to change it sooner under normal conditions

10.5 plus about 1.1 in the reservoir according to the owners Emanuel

yea not a whole lot of point if its not in harsh conditions or anything, its like changing fully synthetic oil at 5000km just a waste of good oil.
