instrument cluster

Happy new year to all,
was wondering if instrument cluster with tacho fits into same harness as one without as have long service coming up in july (4 months off) and would like to keep an eye on revs when towing van around. any advice welcome.

might catch up with some of you at Birdsville at easter with 4wd action crew, be a good trip.

Not sure but there are 2 big rectangular plugs at the top of the tacho dash, one at the top at each end.
Might be an idea to pull yours out to see if it's the same first.

This is the back of an 06 D22 ST-R dash if that helps, it has a tacho.

Thanks for the replies, from memory mine has two harness plugs at the base , but worth anothe look as auto elec want $300 to wire one up through alternator. cheers to all.

my ute is an 02 model 3.0lt td single cab

That dash is out of 3L as well.

Totally different to the 2011 dash as it has 2 long connectors at the top and no screw in globe holes, it uses LED's.

Not surprised as it is a different motor.
