I am hooking up a 30amp relay for my ctek dcdc charger. Where is or what color is the ignition wire behind the battery in my Thai d40?
Can i even put a add a circuit in my fuse box inside car say off the cigarette lighter fuse. Its 15amp. Will this work instead so i don't have to cut wires?

Hi mate, a relay needs very small current to trigger. This is the easy way to get power on accessories without cutting.

John i ended up Putin that exact thing into the cigarette fuse in the fuse box in the cabin. Will this be trouble free? Cheers

Sure will be trouble free mate, make sure you add a fuse to the power supplied to the relay.

Sounds like your doing well. Remember to fuse anything and everything associated with 12 volt.
