Jacking up your car

Hey Guys

Im just curious which I've never thought before but how do you guys jack your car with a lift?

do you have a block or something to use to lift

ive got 3" and the standard jack doesnt even lift the car

Haha.. time to scrap the old baby scissor jack or carry a jack lift base. .
High lift jack maybe?

well i dont have a hi lift jack but ive herd its not "safe" for changing tyres

Until i sort something better, i carry around two HD plastic scaffold bases in the tub.
Id just sit them on each other then the jack on them. Not the best but it is what it is..
Changing a tyre on the side of a packed highway at peak hour isnt safe either but if you cant get off the road you have to do what you have to do i guess hey..haha

Nice flat, fat, wooden block will help. For home I brought a decent trolley jack with stands.



Never been a fan of high lift jacks the're heavy, take up space and you need decent jack points to lift the truck.

No dont use an exhaust jack or a high lift, both are unnecessarily dangerous and unstable

Block of wood under the jack is best way to go

Even at basic height we should all carry a block of wood, try jacking in soft soil on the side of the road you need to spread the load.
