knocking/bumping

hey guys, i have this noise that is progressivly getting worse.
it happenes when brake accelerate or steer (when load transfer happens)
used to only happen when braking hard, now happens alot more frequent.
sounds like its coming from suspension front left.
its a 2005 str d22
done 280000km
i know the description isnt much, but has anyone had these issues?
im thinking maybe some rubbers or torsion bars (sorry im not too good with suspension stuff)

also check body mounts. they tend to fail and make a knocking noise under load shift.

How do I check body mounts?
It there a way to "jack up body" and check the mounts etc..?
