LED Light Bar

So i just bought myself a light bar, and i have been told a few different things regarding its wiring..

Does anyone know if in Vic, Light bars have to be wired with your High Beams, or can they be wired on an individual switch?

i just used an individual switch that was supplied with my light bar. it has a light on the switch so you know the power is On.

Forward facing lightbar needs to be connected to the Highbeam and a seperate switch

have to connect it to your high beams with separate switch, you can get defected for it switched on its own. it's not that hard all you need is a relay
