Legal tyre size d40 NAV

Ok I know this has been said probably many a time before on here but I'm lazy and want to know if regulations have changed so please humor me and don't shoot me, I want to throw some 33's on my 12 model d40 st. Legal or not or is there something I can do to make it legal thanks.

Depends on what state your in for now but eventually all states are apparently going to fall under the same rules.
NCOP states max increase in size is 50mm so from a stock 255/75/16 you can go to a max of a 265/75/R16 or 265/70/R17.
Other than that its an Engineer who has the say and they arent free

There's a difference between legal and what can be done legally. Legally you can fit up to a 285/75/16 or 33" approved and certified by an engineer, but with out this I believe the biggest you can go is 265/75/16 or 265/70/17.

Why would you need to spend 10k on brake up grades?? On my old Nav I upgrade the rotors to a set of DBA slotted rotor and it was approved.

10k to runn 33s that is a bit out of the ball park you would be better of getting it SASED for that little extra.
