Loud knocking noise

Hi when i accelerate hard in first there is a loud knocking noise coming from the rear u can really feel it to sounds like driveshaft but no expert. only in RWD and it does it alot when i have weight in the back. is it serious.

Could be the rear uni joint. Slide underneath and give it a wiggle.

Thanks for the reply so if it wiggles its f**cked i take it. how bigger job is it to replace.

A few clips and bolts should see it fall out. I had mine done by the dealer and the in-dash camera didn't catch what they were doing underneath the car.
