hi all i have looked in the threads for an answer to this question, so here goes. i have a d22 with manual locking front hubs and recently went 4wding and selected 2hi when i got to the black top but forgot to manually disengage the hubs from lock to free. i then clocked up 600kms coming home from pt lincoln here in sa then noticed the hubs were still in lock position.
is this bad, could it cause long term damage? i have heard that you can leave the hubs in lock and engage 4wd when required, is this true?
i havent noticed anything different to the vehice since, either with handling, steering, or being able to engage the hubs again. thanks guys.
