My 80 Series airbox install

Hey all, so i've had this bad boy installed for a few days now, but i only got around to properly mounting and fixing it down today, as well as getting the catch can installed.

The Air-box is from a 80Series running a 1HZ diesel motor.

anyway, here's my take on this brilliant mod.

The completed Engine bay:

what brand of catch can is that joshman??

it's calibre, the supercr@p auto brand. it's pretty meh, i'm probably going to ditch it for a provent in the near future.

thanks joshman, why are you going to ditch it? does it not work well?
it looks ok in the pic but that doesnt mean it performs any good i suppose.

Yeah, it was an absolute pain to make work and I'm not convinced that's its going to be very effective. The provent is proven and much higher quality construction.

I bought one of those caliber cans, just cause I was too lazy to do the 'make it ur self' version out of pvc and stuff.

modified it a bit so that I could put a pot scrubber in it to help it filter out the finer stuff. nothing gone wrong yet but it is still early days. might check it and post an update in 5000 kms or so
