First thing i did was put some new tyres and rims on her,

Got the rims from a mate for $100 and they had been freshly powder coated.
tyres are 31X10.5 Goodyear wranglers (duratracs) on 15x8 rims,

After that the head cracked and set my plans back a bit, $1200 later and quite a few hours work she was up and going again, so i fitted VDO boost and EGT gauges in a pillar pod to give it a nice factory look, also blocked off the EGR.

The last few things i have done over the past 6 or so months are,

Fitted a Warn 9000lb winch, Forefronts winch intercooler and catch can, and put a HID kit in my IPF800 lights,

Future plans are a 2'' lift and i have just finished off a frame to go on the tray for a canvas canopy which i plan to make a roof rack for also.

I'm very happy with the nav so far and the mods have made it even better to drive on road and in the bush.

Let me know what you think!

Cheers!

Hey mate I've got an 06 DX dual cab and might be looking at a dodgey head as well.

Was thinking of do gauges too. Where did you buy the pod from? And which gauges did you put on? Egt and boost? Or egt and water pressure?

I got the gauges and the pod from Ebay mate, they look really neat i think, almost like they're supposed to be there. got my new head and gasket kit from Ebay as well if you're looking at getting a new one.
