Mate cant complain on bit, maybe the only thing is the clutch, being fully loaded and having both lockers in on soft sand it slipped when pulling the old mans prado out so its going to go and be fitted with a solid over the next couple of months.

Figures werent too bad actually. having the chip on each stage (performance, towing and economy) were really good. Cruise set on 110 at about 2200-2300RPM

Performance-14.9ltr/100km
Towing-15.9ltrs/100km, This was pulling a trailer on the way up which weighed about 1-1.4t
Economy- 12.8ltrs/100km and switching to performance whenever I'd overtake.

Slight update, Removed the whole rear lot, sold them and now building a steel tray and alloy canopy. Can handle carrying the weight all the time and wated a tray again.

Hi Gunning where and how did you sell the whole rear lot?
On the forum? Did you sell it as a complete tub/canopy/drawers?

Thanks
Maximus

Yep, you get so much more in with a tray. A box will give you the most space, but it looks dorky.

I was looking at a 2nd hand Cruiser the other day wondering if it was time to change, but nope, you just can't enough into wagons. I'll be in a ute with a tray until I can't go any longer I reckon.

Keep us updated brother.

A few things you may like to consider, I'll be doing this with my next tray.

Get a poly diesel tank, 80ltrs, about $350, a 60 - 80 litre water tank, around $150 if you look around. Design them into the underside of tray. Make a space underneath for 2nd and 3rd batteries. I put mine in centre underneath, only hassle is I have to remove the tray to get to it.

Put in access panels in the tray floor so you can get to whatever you mount under it.

Put in a length of RHS from side to side and front of the tray and the rear, or something similar, so you can jack up the tray off the chassis and drive out from under it.

Sold all items individually, its hard to sell as one unit because most people dont want to fork out 4-6K in one hit.

Ive sketched up a alloy canopy with everything i want, just have to build it now, And save some more funds, Ill be making a Stainless water tank to sit towards the front of the tray and have made a draw at the back to hold spare parts, straps, dirty items manly, Next i have to make are my tool boxes that will fit either side behind the rear tyres and will be more storage and fit my battery where my spare tyre would normally sit.

Ill most some more pictures this arvo one im done.
