its just where the up/down pivot point is, where those small side caps are, i can just imagine someone with a big screwdriver and hammer...

wedge the screwdriver in the gap, whack it with a hammer, and it popping out of the light mount.

i hope thats not the case, otherwise i'm staying with my old mounts.

The old mounts are junk, the bolt that it pivots on uses a 17mm nut and bolt.

Heaps better design, my area is safe so I am not worried about theft.

If a dero wants them they will pinch no matter how there mounted.
